The CareSens control solution is used for functional control. You can use it to check whether the blood glucose monitoring system consisting of a meter and test strips is working properly. The CareSens control solution is an aqueous solution. It contains a certain amount of glucose (D-glucose), which reacts with the CareSens test strip. Control solution A checks the low control range, control solution B checks the higher control range.
