Surface disinfectant - Desonova
Desonova is a ready-to-use surface disinfectant for medical devices, such as operating tables and other medical equipment (except acrylic glass). Broad microbiological effectiveness in practical exposure times. Very good material compatibility - quick drying without leaving any residue. Has a bactericidal effect (including MRSA), tuberculocidal, yeasticidal. Has a limited virucidal effect (HBV/HIV, BVDV (HCV), influenza/flu viruses).
Meets the EN 13697 standard and is effective against Noro, Adeno and Rota viruses as well as SV40.
Application and dosage:
Completely wet the objects or surfaces to be disinfected with Desonova from a distance of approx. 30 cm, allow to take effect and, if necessary, wipe with a disposable cloth. Dries quickly and without leaving any residue. Not only can the surface disinfectant Desonova be used by anyone, but it also contributes to a smooth workflow. Thanks to the short exposure time, work can continue almost seamlessly, so that there is no significant loss of time with the Desonova surface disinfectant.
What is disinfected with the Desonova surface disinfectant?
Whether operating or treatment tables, various medical devices or a wide variety of medical inventory: the Desonova surface disinfectant can be used to disinfect a wide variety of surfaces in a doctor's office or in the operating room area of a hospital, for example. In this way, two different situations are achieved: Surface disinfection sets high hygienic standards that are used for prevention. Furthermore, the health of doctors and patients is preserved, for example when treating a sick person. Thanks to the surface disinfectant Desonova, the germs in question cannot spread, but are successfully combated, so that further contamination is hardly possible.
How much Septican hand sanitizer is needed?
The VAH's recommendation for hand disinfection calls for at least three milliliters, which should be used within 15 seconds. This is recommended as a general guideline for skin lacking sebaceous glands. On skin rich in sebaceous glands, however, it should be about a minute. It is also recommended to keep your skin moist to disinfect your hands. This also applies to surgical hand disinfection according to EN 12791. Here the hands should be rubbed with the same amount, but for around 90 seconds. It is also important to keep them moist throughout the entire application.
On which surfaces can the surface disinfectant Desonova be used?
The surface disinfectant Desonova is suitable for surface disinfection of a wide variety of materials. It has a high material compatibility. You should only exercise caution when disinfecting surfaces on various alcohol-sensitive surfaces, such as acrylic glass, polycarbonate glass, etc. Accordingly, the surface disinfectant Desonova can be used almost anywhere.

· Surface disinfection with mechanics: bactericidal / levurocidal (high load): 1 min.
· Surface disinfection without mechanics: bactericidal / levurocidal (low load): 30 seconds.
· Tuberculocide (low exposure): 1 min.
· Limited virucidal (low exposure): 1 min.
· Limited virucidal PLUS (low exposure): 1 min.
